The 11+ Programme
My innovative 11+ Programme offers a comprehensive tutoring and coaching service designed to support pupils and their families throughout the entire 11+ experience. From initial assessment to final exam preparation, I deliver tailored lessons that focus on developing key skills such as verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, mathematics and English. Alongside personalised feedback and progress tracking, I provide guidance on exam techniques, time management and building confidence, ensuring you feel well-prepared and supported at every stage of your journey.

Step 1
Initial Contact
Get started by booking a complimentary 30-minute consultation at a time that suits you. In this initial conversation, we'll explore your child’s specific needs for the 11+, including preferred schools, any previous tutoring and areas you'd like to focus on. This session will begin your child’s portfolio, which I’ll update and share with you throughout the 11+ journey, keeping you informed every step of the way.
Step 2
The Trial Month
Following your initial consultation, you’ll move on to the Trial Month. This stage begins with an initial assessment set before the first lesson, along with personalised feedback. Throughout the month, your child will attend weekly tutoring sessions and receive regular homework, with progress tracked in an updated student profile featuring marks and detailed feedback. You’ll also benefit from your first monthly progress call, where we can review your child’s progress, set achievable targets and discuss whether you wish to continue with ongoing tutoring.
Step 3
Assessment and Feedback
Each month, your child will benefit from weekly tutoring sessions that reinforce essential skills and address areas requiring improvement. Classwork will be marked and then added to their student portfolio, allowing you to easily monitor progress and review achievements. Weekly homework will be set, with a minimum of two assignments, designed to consolidate learning and promote independent study.
At the end of each month, we will hold a progress call to discuss your child’s development in detail, set new targets and answer any questions you may have about the next steps. Formal assessments will be arranged at regular intervals to provide a clear overview of your child’s abilities and you will receive a comprehensive termly report highlighting strengths, areas for growth and overall progress.
Step 4
Coaching and Guidance
As part of my comprehensive 11+ support, I work closely with parents to guide them every step of the way. This includes in-depth discussions about prospective schools, practical advice regarding entrance requirements such as application deadlines, assessments and interviews for independent schools.
Throughout the process, I am always available to answer questions, clarify procedures and equip you with the knowledge to actively support your child’s preparation and progress.
In addition, as a member of my tutoring community, you will receive access to my website library for free, providing you with additional resources, guidance and advice.
